Food Drives place the power to make a meaningful difference directly in your hands. This page contains step-by-step directions for managing your drive, as well as useful hints and tips to boost your success. Thanks again for your partnership. Now, where to begin?
Register your drive online. When you register here you create a custom online homepage to publicize and manage your drive. Monitor your progress, send emails to friends and family and download fun tools to draw attention to your drive. Your page also provides an easy place to see your goal and share your drive through Facebook, Twitter, and more.
Now, think about the goal you want to hit. Is it 500 pounds of food? $500? Both? Get your goal in mind and share it on your drive’s page.
How long is your drive? Is it two days? Two weeks? A month? Think about how long you want to host your drive and share it on your page.
Get your food collection boxes together. Old moving boxes, shipping boxes, or any kind of box can work beautifully. Interested in our large donation boxes? To acquire boxes please visit the main campus at 1304 North Kenosha Ave. and visit the front desk.. We use these donation boxes year-round, so we ask that you refrain from writing or drawing on the barrels.

Get your food to families. Once you complete your food drive, you can deliver it to the Food Bank located at 1304 N. Kenosha Avenue between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you collected too much to move, you can schedule a pick-up here. Pick-ups under 500 pounds (5 full boxes) do not qualify for pick-up.
