Junior Ambassadors

The Junior Ambassador program is a great way for high school students to gain experience and learn the importance of being actively involved in the community. The Junior Ambassadors' experience includes volunteering, taking part in advocating for the Food Bank at the state capitol, planning initiatives, and more. This program is a 2-year commitment and is open to all incoming high school sophomores and juniors. Students will be assisted and mentored by Food Bank staff.

The program requires full attendance. Excused absences will be granted for special circumstances.  We plan to meet in person at different locations in the Tulsa community. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to each Ambassador and can be used in the college application process. A tentative schedule is listed below.  Meeting times will usually be 6:00-7:30, light dinner included.
